My Students

I teach some very vibrant 9-10 year old students. They have a variety of personalities and love to be at school. My students have some very difficult home lives and really look forward to everyday that they are at school. My students are on all different levels and require different types of teaching and the ability to use manipulative's which we do not have access to at the school.

My students are some of the most amazing children I have come across.

Almost all of them start their days getting yelled at by someone, are so very hungry, and just cannot wait to get to school which seems to be their happy place. I love that my students want to come to school and learn and work as hard as possible to make me proud. What they don't realize is that I am so proud to call them mine and what a privilege it is to teach them.

My Project

These items will give my students the ability to change their seating to help them focus and be able to move around the room. The tape makes it where we can tape our examples in our interactive notebooks. The manipulative's will allow the students a hands on way to learn and an alternative way to understand the content.

With the addition of these supplies in my classroom my students will have the tools to be successful this school year.

We will be able to build their knowledge within the math content for the fourth grade. I can't wait to see that my students can do this year!
