My Project

The card games such as Ono 99 and Numtanga are to update some of the math station games with have in our classroom. I learned about these games at a professional development this summer and would love to support students with these new engaging games. The fadeless paper is to assist me in making displays and posters for our classroom!

My goal for this project is to support and strengthen my students' math identity and grow their math skills through fun, engaging practices.

In 2nd grade, students still need to practice foundational skills to support math literacy and fluency as they begin more advanced skills like addition and subtraction with regrouping, place value, and more. I hope that through these games students will be confident mathematicians!
