Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The mascot for ST Math is a penguin named Jiji. This project also includes items to celebrate student success as they meet milestones during the year.

The students will be encouraged to work hard when they are rewarded with penguin-related stickers and stuffed animals, and we will get to make our own penguin shirts with the heat press!

This project will encourage a deeper understanding of number sense through the use of the online platform, ST Math.

Our district uses this program to teach students mathematical concepts in a way that is accessible to all students. ST Math focuses on model representations and students problem-solve to complete puzzles.
