Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been significantly impacted by "remote learning" during the COVID pandemic. Many of them missed out on mastering their time tables which has made the 5th-grade math material difficult for them.

Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic background, we are in a title I school and do not have the supplies they need to be successful.

The markers we currently use in the classroom I purchased at the beginning of the year or they are from former students who donated their supplies at the end of the school year.

I want to make math fun for them, not the subject they dread due to the difficulty of its nature. With these supplies, students will be able to create graphs, tables, diagrams, and even math games.
