Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hands-on learning is important for young children. Providing my students with base ten blocks will promote children using appropriate materials to represent their work with problem solving. Furthermore, providing each child with their own set of addition flash cards will allow the children to practice their math facts independently at home.

The flair pens will be used in our writing lessons.

First-grade students work on narrative and informational writing. It is helpful to have the correct writing tools.

Finally, fidget toys are used for positive reinforcement of prosocial behavior in the classroom.
