Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The classroom environment I aim to create is one where learning is dynamic, interactive, and tailored to diverse learning styles. Dry erase boards will empower our students to actively participate in discussions, problem-solving, and sharing of ideas. These boards foster a sense of inclusivity, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. Furthermore, notebooks will serve as personal learning journals, allowing students to track their progress and take ownership of their learning journey.

With these tools, we can promote organization, reflection, and a deeper understanding of key concepts.

One of the most impactful tools we are seeking is the magnetic fraction circles. Fractions can be a challenging concept for many students, but with these tactile, hands-on materials, we can transform abstract ideas into concrete understanding. Students will have the opportunity to manipulate fraction pieces, visually compare them, and develop a strong foundation in this crucial mathematical area. Your generous contribution towards these resources will not only enhance our classroom but also empower our students to excel and succeed.
