My Project

Math is the highlight of our students' day. They love doing hands-on things and seeing concretely why their answers are correct. We have been learning numbers 1-10 and mastered them.

Now, our centers need a refresh so the students can learn new concepts.

The geoboards are a favorite of the students. They love stretching the rubber bands and making new shapes. The giant die is fun for rolling and making addition sentences. The button sort is a great center for English language learners to learn about size and color. The laminating pouches will allow me to make and print centers tailored to each child's specific needs. These new math activities will make a difference in our afternoon math lessons and keep the students engaged and learning.
