Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

So often math is overlooked because of the need to learn to read and write. Not in my class! The importance to be a well rounded student and capable to excel in all subject areas is the forefront of how I run my classroom.

My students have blossomed into amazing mathematicians!

I want to continue to foster their love for math and these geoboard materials will help me to do just that. It's one thing to draw or verbally express your math thinking, but to build, create and construct your ideas using materials you would never think were math related is another thing!
