Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my sixth year in Kindergarten at a wonderful school. My students are eager 5-6 years-olds, coming from a variety of backgrounds. They love to continually be engaged in the classroom!

My students work hard to achieve their goals.

To keep the learning process exciting, I use a variety of materials. This makes my students excited and curious about learning, and I want to make sure I have these materials to foster their love of learning on a daily basis!

My Project

My students have almost completed the math book and love center time in the classroom! They would enjoy these enriching math center games to use during our math time.

In Kindergarten, hands on materials and games are essential.

Every student learns at a different pace and level, both in reading and math. These materials will help keep the children engaged, especially those that are curious and interested in math concepts.

Instead of using worksheets and paper based lessons, it is imperative that students be exposed to a variety of hands on materials that enhance our every day learning. The end of the year math review and introduction to First Grade math concepts prepares my students for next year while keeping their interest!
