Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this "Math is Everywhere in Our Pre-K World" will provide our students with math opportunities in spatial relationships, shapes, comparing, measuring, collecting and counting. The legos will allow students to create structures by matching up similar blocks and building exciting creations. The pretend cleaning supplies will allow students to use and organize materials.

The children's cookbook, measuring cups and measuring spoons, aprons and hooks will help us create a mathematical corner in our dramatic play area. The dominoes, sorting boards wooden shaped puzzles and ten frame counters will provide fun math activities in many of our classroom centers.
