My Students

I teach 4th grade math to 52 talented, innovative, and hardworking students. These students are motivated surprisingly by the simple things in life. I think as adults we forget that children understand the basic needs and know that is a necessity to do good work.

They love to play math games and are naturally competitive.

They are constantly challenging themselves to be better students.

My students also enjoy working on small projects together and helping each other be better students.

My Project

This year, my school is limited in supplies. Most families find it difficult to provide supplies for their kids because it can become costly. The one thing my class runs out of the most is pencils. If my project is fully funded, the students will have plenty of pencils for the ones that go missing. They will also have a pencil sharpener to sharpen those pencils and a comfortable carpet to lay on when a chair just isn't enough. The students use the carpet for playing math games during work stations and for alternative seating. Please help to make this school year enjoyable for all of my students without having to worry about the small things.
