Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal of this project is to provide students with engaging hands on material to assist them during math time. My students are young and benefit from a hands on approach. The key and locks assist students with counting and number recognition. The ladybug game is a great center and small group game that can be played to reinforce number recognition in a fun way. Addition is always extra fun with a hands-on approach.
All of these materials help students engage in math.
The number line is great for subtraction and addition. We can use it to do the hop method. My students would be very lucky to receive materials to promote math learning.
