My Students

My students are amazing and I want to help them become more amazing!

I teach third grade at a school with large boundaries.

Because of those large boundaries we have a mix of income levels in our classrooms and a wide variety of ability levels.

To help reach the different ability levels of my students, I love to work with them in small groups so I can better meet their different needs! However, I need manipulatives and resources to keep my other students engaged while I do this, not just doing busy work.

My Project

Having these manipulatives and tools will help my students tackle the hard math concepts we work on in 3rd grade. With 2 years of online learning and missing instruction due to illness my students struggle with many math concepts, then throwing in a new concept adds an extra challenge for them. These math manipulatives will help my students have the chance to turn their math into hands on experiences. This will also allow me to easily give volunteers and teaching aids hands on practice to work on with my students.
