This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been impacted by covid financially. Having good calculators they can use in my physics class and borrow for their math classes would be so beneficial to them and their families. Relieving the students of paying for the cost of a new graphing calculator would mean they could use the extra money for food, clothes and other expenses that the new school year brings. Having a graphing calculator in my classroom for all students to use, would make the possibility of passing physics and math class and not have to buy the students a new calculator.
