My Students

Our second-graders love to engage and challenge each other. They come to school excited to see each other, ready to share and explore learning.

Our kids focus on building relationships and partnering with peers to see learning from different perspectives.

We work hard to understand our different experiences and background which gives us all an opportunity to learn from each other. We love to communicate with each other and ask questions. The best part is when we notice the learning and celebrate together.

My Project

Our class loves gaming! We write books about gaming. We talk about gaming. We draw pictures of gaming! What's not to love about gaming?

Through collaborative games, we found out we can become experts with our math skills.

By playing math board games, we get to enjoy our time for practice in a small group and don't even recognize all the learning we are gaining. It becomes so much fun that we choose to play math games.

By funding this project, we will purchase actual games to feel like professionals and gain math facts and understanding of many math skills. We will be having fun while we learn.
