Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students like to play board games. I want to provide my students with opportunities to learn and reinforce math skills while addressing their many different learning styles

These hands-on math centers and games from Teachers Pay Teachers will help students practice and apply skills and strategies taught within each of our math units.

These centers are directly connected to specific grade-level standards. My students will practice new math skills and review what they already know. The variety of materials in these resources will provide activities for students to do independently, with a partner, in a small group, and at a teacher-led center. These materials will not only continue to intrigue and enhance my students' interest in and love of math, but they will also push them academically and encourage deep critical thinking skills. These resources will give them highly engaging exposure to all math strands, including measurement & data, operations & algebraic thinking, fractions, numbers in base ten, and geometry.

Your donation will greatly improve my classroom by providing differentiated, hands-on, and engaging math resources to all my students. With your help, I will incorporate these math games into my instruction and be able to give my students a solid math foundation they need as well as instilling in them a love for math!
