I am a lucky teacher of second-grade students. My students aim to please and are always interested in learning something new. They think best when given hands-on materials. Their curious nature makes them so very special!
I find that it is very important to keep my students engaged and excited about learning.
The best way to do this is by providing them with hands-on materials and resources that focus on current events. This allows my students the opportunity to learn more about what is taking place in the world around them. In addition, it makes learning a lot more fun!
My Project
Often times you will have students that are reluctant to work on various mathematical skills. They are not confident in that area so taking time to practice the skills is nearly impossible.
That is why it is important to make math fun any chance you get!
By having a set of grade and skill appropriate math file folder games available, my students will have hands-on opportunities to review a wide-range of math skills. In addition, the games require a partner. This will enhance cooperative learning among peers.
Making math fun is so important. It captures students' interest and sparks their desire to learn!
