Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my math class, I have 44 hardworking students who will benefit from hands-on materials for our next upcoming lessons! Help our students strengthen their fluency in addition and subtraction by using materials to scaffold their learning! The addition and subtraction machine will help students practice addition/subtraction facts! I also would love it if they could use the It's a Snap Simple learning tool to work out math addition problems. In this purchase, you will also see part part whole boards-- this also helps students with their fluency in addition and subtraction.

We are also learning place value in the next unit, so it will be incredibly helpful to have magnetic base ten blocks for students to manipulate during math stations!

We will also use magnetic base ten to represent numbers during this unit. Students thrive on working with manipulatives for a hands-on experience in math class! Please help us get these materials to support students' learning!
