This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The large whiteboard will give students the opportunity to showcase their work and feel proud of their efforts and allows more room for magnetic manipulatives, which creates a visual safety net for those students who feel insecure or nervous about asking for help. Posters can have the same effect. The small whiteboards create an exciting and fun opportunity to make lessons more engaging and accessible for all. It also provides students with a small safe space where they can work things out on their own. This helps build self management and awareness, all while making class more fun and engaging with the goal of building strong relationships
