My Students
All of my students are between the ages of 5 and 6. My wonderful class consists of students with disability diagnoses who receive speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. Due to the pandemic, this is the first time back in a school building since March. They have been very eager to start and be back in school!
With their return to school, I am dedicated to making sure their learning experiences are full of joy and fun.
This school is in a new location and due to budget cuts, I do not have many classroom items.
My students are full of love and energy. They enjoy Pete the Cat, puzzles, and drawing! They like to explore new items and attempt different ways to play with them.
My Project
With budget cuts and a new location (starting from scratch!), we do not have a lot of math or ELA tools. My students learn best with hands-on materials! The magnetic letters and numbers will help them with learning their letters and spelling their names. The shape matching games will help them practice matching skills and learn their shapes.
Along with this, the special handwriting books will be sent home with them so they can practice tracing their letters from home for the days they are remote.
