Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a 7th grade Math Teacher in Newark, NJ. My students come from various backgrounds. We are the top porforming school in the district and this is a direct reflection of their constant dedication and willingness to succeed. My students persevere through the hardships of their home life and come to school everyday with an eagerness to learn because they are aware of the value of education. They are aware that through hard work comes great success. I couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and effort I see them give to Math everyday.

My Project

While I own an extremely small laptop, it will be difficult for my students to see the whiteboard I will be using to instruct from home. These items can be connected to my personal laptop to make for more efficient instruction. With your help, my technology flaws will not be the reason my students cannot reach their full potential. Help me, help them!

All items will be used for distance learning and will benefit 150+ Middle School Mathematics Students.
