Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is going to be a great year for my kindergarten students. They will learn their ABCs, numbers, how to read and write, and how to make new friends. Some of my students come into kindergarten with no English language, and they leave my class reading. 75% of the students at my school qualify for free lunch. Every student also qualifies for free breakfast every day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so we need to make sure every student has eaten breakfast and are ready to learn. My school is full of great students, parents, teachers, staff, and administration. We work together to make sure each child is getting the best education they can!

My Project

Math is so important for kindergarten students. Math time is also so much fun for my class. They love counting, and learning about numbers. These fun games in the Early Math Instant Learning Centers will help my class learn how to sort, add, compare numbers, and match quantity with the number.

By the end of kindergarten, my students need to master all these skills that are given in the games.

My students will be happy to play and use the fun materials within the games. It will definitely impact my classroom in a positive way, and will be vital tools to my students' learning in the classroom!
