My Project

I teach 4th Grade at an extremely high-poverty school in Middle Tennessee. I teach to many backgrounds including many ESL students, non-English speaking children, homeless students, and many that considered high-at-risk-students.

One of my goals in teaching this upcoming year is to read books involving mathematival concepts, allow them to play math focused games, and implement math centers.

These books, games, and centers will provide the variety of learners in my class as well as the different abilities students have many ways to practice and demonstrate their understandings. The learning centers I will create from the TeachersPayTeachers giftcard and place in the photo storage bins will allow easy access for students all year to practice what we are learning in 4th grade. It will allow easy storage.
