Help me give my students science literature and notebooks!
My goal is to start a science library for 6th-grade students and to provide all students with the materials needed to organize their lab reports and science notes.
My goal is to start a science library for 6th-grade students and to provide all students with the materials needed to organize their lab reports and science notes. This project is multipart; to start, we need a science library for 6th-grade students. The selected books are librarian-recommended and will fit in with our NGSS-aligned curriculum. Other supplies are to provide students with science binders, binder storage, clipboards for working 'in the field', and a paper storage organizer to help students access and store materials easily.
The goal of this 6th-grade project is to engage students in developing background knowledge of science topics through highly visual, entertaining, and accessible literature.
Binders will be used to create science notebooks from observation logs, science lab reports, and other print materials. Additional materials are for student science notebooks and classroom organization of notebooks and science posters.
