Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students bring excitement and a love of learning into the classroom every time they walk through the door. The math manipulatives and math games selected will allow students to develop a deeper understanding of math skills.

Students will work in partnerships and in small groups to reinforce math skills, especially with fractions, multiplication and division.

This project is all about concept development. Hands-on math materials are a huge factor in teaching students about math as students learn first by concrete experimental knowledge that transforms into abstract conceptual knowledge.

With your help, students will have the opportunity to engage in fun learning experiences. These resources will create interest, motivation, and excitement about math for the upcoming school year!
