My Project

Math can sometimes feel challenging, but it doesn’t have to be boring! Games and puzzles are the best ways to make math enjoyable. These math games and jigsaw puzzles will be additional resources for my students to improve their math skills. This is especially important for most of my low-income students who may not have access to these learning tools or resources. Games and puzzles provide fun and help us develop essential math skills without realizing it!

When my students play these math games and puzzles, they are working on problem-solving abilities, spatial awareness, and social skills while having fun.

The games teach how to think strategically. In board games like Monopoly or Multi, they must make numbers-based decisions. They learn to calculate money and make choices about spending. These skills are essential for real-life situations. My students are preparing themselves for future challenges by playfully engaging with math! Jigsaw puzzles are another excellent way to enhance their math abilities. They require spatial awareness, a vital geometry skill. Solving puzzles helps us think about shapes and how they fit together. Games and puzzles are great learning tools.
