This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I need these materials to encourage and help my students to grow and thrive. I am a 7th grade, core concepts teacher where my mission is to help students close the gaps they may have in their skills of reading, writing, and math. These notebooks will be used for writing bell work at the beginning of class for the extended practice.

These materials will allow student autonomy such as having creative expression on decorating the front cover and being allowed freedom to write inside of the notebook as well.

It will become a journal to document their journey in this classroom. Students will be able to express themselves and watch how they grew and bloomed from their starting point to the time the year ends.
