My Students

My Kindergarteners are creative and thoughtful bundles of excitement! This is the first time many of them have ever had a classroom/school experience. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions.

Since we are now starting school virtually, I will need a different set of materials to help reinforce concepts at home each day.

My Kindergarteners come from many different walks of life. Some of my students have special needs, some are second language learners, some have Individual Education Plans, and some are from low-income families who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

This diverse group of learners needs hands-on experiences to express their learning through fine motor development, creativity, and growing independence.

My Project

My students need materials at home to enforce their virtual learning with hands-on opportunities. The picture-story composition book has plenty of room for kids to write and draw—perfect for practicing letters, as well as writing and illustrating stories, creating illustrated word banks and dictionaries, and so much more! These books have 200 pages which will give them plenty of opportunities to practice and refine their skills. They will be able to use the multi-cultural crayons to illustrate their stories and include a multitude of friends and family in their illustrations.

While learning at home, my students will also need hands-on experiences for fine motor skills.

These classroom-safe scissors are specially designed for little artists! The 5" scissors feature smooth plastic blades that crisply cut through paper... but won’t let children cut through their hair or clothes! Our parents will be pleased to know that they are safe using these scissors at home. Scissors fit both righties and lefties, so our students can see which works best for them.
