Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in a self-contained specialized class with a classification of autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities. As a teacher I strive to have my students become as independent as they can having realistic expectations. Part of being independent is having a classroom management plan. Each day my students earn stickers and if they earn enough by the end of the day they can choose a "treasure".
The 600 Party Favors for Kids and popcorn will help ensure that my students will earn their stickers to get their treasure!
The ziploc bags and paper clips will help them to organize their classwork; and the velcro and laminating pouches will be used to keep symbols clean and durable for the students who are non-verbal.
