Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a lovely community school and am proud to do artist studies with my students twice monthly. Through our artist studies we travel the globe learning about the life, place of origin, and influence of the artist we’re studying. We also learn a technique and are given ideas, tools, and inspiration for an open-ended art experience.

When you provide consumable items such as pencils, erasers, markers, glitter, watercolors, and watercolor paper you’re making this possible!

Thank you so much! Because of your generosity my second graders are getting experiences that foster their growth and development artistically and beyond!
