Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a new teacher in a public Montessori school. I am trying to round out the materials available in my room to provide an engaging classroom environment.

Students will enhance their vocabulary and descriptive writing with new student dictionaries.

Students will look more closely at the natural environment surrounding them with a handheld microscope and a root-viewer growing kit. Students will deepen their understanding of fractions by exploring the fraction circles.

My students are already excited to learn and engage with the world around them. Please help me give them the tools to nurture their curiosity and dive deeper into knowledge!
