This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

These are difficult times. Never did I imagine that when my students and I said goodbye in March it would mean that it was our last day in the classroom. However, we still continue this academic year!

My students and I have launch on the distance learning journey!

We are actively engaging in all sorts of different online platforms and learning new things. My students and I participate three times a week in Zoom meetings to go over new material, for interventions, and virtual fieldtrips and to check in with each other. In addition, I am recording lessons at home for them to view and continue to learn and review different skills. I am amazed by their level of engagement and participation, and families' support to try new things.

My Project

Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in Houston. My student needs a variety of materials to complete assignments, and games, and hands-on learning materials. For the last week of school I will like for my students to create a project that can allow them to express their feelings on the things they learn during the school year and I will create a virtual meeting with my whole class where they can showcase and talk about their projects. The crayons, scissors, markers and pencils will allow my students to be creative and create a live project for their Kindergarten memories.

My students need materials to make their learning still be fun and hands-on.

My students need school supplies that could make their assignments more fun and easy to complete. These materials also contain hands-on learning materials that make learning exciting! These materials will be mailed directly to my students' homes.
