My Project

My kindergarten students work so hard at everything they do. As a class they have learned to work together to achieve more than they thought they could. They have learned number and letter recognition, how to read, addition and subtraction strategies, as well as science and social studies concepts. As a treat we are having a school wide field trip this spring. We will be taking all students in our school to the aquarium. This trip will serve as a learning opportunity that many of my students will never have again. They will learn up close and personal about fish, sharks, whales, and the habitats each comes from. They will also be learning standards that are specific to our state such as fish that are native to our state and area.

My class has grown this year as a class community from the beginning of the year and we treat each other as family.

Through this project, I will be able to supply my students with a personalized shirt that they will tie dye themselves. I can't wait to take pictures of them all in matching shirts. I can only imagine the memories they will make. Please consider being a part of that by donating to this project.
