Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic and eager learners. They come to school each day ready to get down to the business of learning.

My second graders have come from across the world and around the corner to receive the best education possible.

Their ethnic, racial, socio-economic and linguistic diversity is one of the great strengths of our school.

These students and their families want to prepare for the future with a strong foundation. They need access to the best educational programs in order to prepare to be the leaders they were born to be!

My Project

These materials will allow me to send my classroom home with my students. Although they may not be in our classroom each day with our number lines, 100 chart and math posters I will supply them with all those tools for remote learning. I will make them math folders filled with math tools and reference charts by using the sleeves and cardstock, .

When my second graders log onto to Zoom this fall they will be prepared for math learning with their new math folders and materials.

Students will have every classroom resource at their fingertips, allowing them to learn and grow as mathematicians.
