This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are definitely my reason why. On a daily basis, it seems like they know exactly what to do to make me smile. We love to work as a team (group work) to complete our everyday tasks in the learning environment. We are a family!

My Project

With the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in Louisiana, many schools in our school system have been closed due to the number of positive cases. Our high school was just recently put on a medical quarantine due to the number of positive cases after students returned from Christmas break. With this project, I hope to be able to supply any student at our high school with a mask. These masks will allow us a chance to decrease the number of cases in the learning environment.
