My Students

My students are some of the brightest and most gifted students in my school district. However due to their home environments and dangerous neighborhoods, the only thing on their minds is pure survival. Most of our students come from struggling homes where their parents are trying to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. Our school provides a safe haven to most of our students. They come to school eager to learn everyday regardless of lack of school supplies. It is important that they feel they don't have to worry about basic school supplies.

My class motto is "Failure is not an option!" Please help with supplies for my Individuals and Societies class.

One of my goals is to make sure the students have everything they need in order to be successful in class. These students are under-served and just need someone to care about them and their success. Because of their drive for learning I want to remove all barriers or obstacles that may hinder their success.

My Project

I am super excited to see my students after an absence of almost 2 years. They are equally excited and sometimes too much. We would like to stay safe in our excitement while learning and growing. The masks and disinfecting wipes will allow students to remain safe as they touch and learn.

We can not allow Covid-19 to stop learning or curb our enthusiasm at learning live.

With your assistance, our classroom will be a safe zone where parents will freely send their children and where our students can competently and confidently learn.
