Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students are amazing! The school we are at is a Title I school in Arizona. We have a fantastic administration, wonderful teammates, and the best students! My students are very hard workers and also know how to have fun. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love seeing their faces every morning.
My students have a desire to learn.
They always want to know more, learn more, do more, and read more of everything. Our classroom is our own little family.
My Project
Many of my students do not have masks to wear. This is an essential piece of protection that my students need. While most students are doing a great job of wearing face masks, some face masks do not fit properly.
When they come to pick-up supplies, many of them have a disposable mask that has been worn many times.
Masks are definitely a necessity during this time. We need to make sure that we can properly keep every child safe as possible when they return to school. Having enough masks to pass out daily for kids who do not have them is very important. Kids will need masks like they need their basic school supplies.
