This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredible! However, like most humans they dread Mondays. As a school we are struggling to improve our students' attendance. Data shows that Monday is the most frequent day for absences.
If my students aren't at school, I can't teach them!
With only 17 Mondays left in the school year, I want Mondays to be the day my students look forward to. For every student that is present on the remaining Mondays, I would like to reward them with a small token. Examples include miniature keys that say "You are a KEY part of our school" or candles that say "Let your light shine". Hopefully we can turn the dreaded Monday into MARVELOUS MONDAY!
