This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teachers hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world. - David Warlick

Being a Learning Center (RSP) teacher, my class has a range of disabilities and abilities.

The demographics of the school is 75% free and reduced lunch and 60% + English Language Learners. The greatest thing about my students is their willingness to learn! They come to school everyday ready to put their best effort and always have such a wonderful, positive attitude.

My Project

My students would greatly benefit from the Preschool Prep videos because it supports their basic learning of language arts. These DVDs are great for students that may need a different avenue of learning. This project would give students who don't normally have the access to technological resources the ability to keep up with their same age peers. The markers are a great incentive for students working on class posters and volunteering during group lessons. My students enjoy coming up to the board especially when they are allowed to use "special" markers that only the teacher is usually "allowed" to use.
