My Project

My amazing middle school students have been working so hard this year. My students are actively having to use the dictionary during our ELA class. Our current set of dictionaries are pocket-sized and this is challenging for my students to read from and keep open. This makes it difficult as we complete vocabulary tasks throughout the week such as when we work on the graphic organizers for the Frayer model. I am requesting class sets so all of my students have their own dictionaries and thesaurus. Additionally, I am requesting an intermediate-level copy for the classroom as well as a visual dictionary. Each student will be able to grab an updated and modern version off of the shelf and take home their own and complete homework with ease.
