My Project

I love my students because they are so passionate about their favorite music. From The Beatles to BTS to Beyonce and beyond, my students are so inspired by the genres and the artists that speak to them. One such genre is Mariachi music which not only represents incredible songs but an incredible culture. That is why I'm excited that my Mariachi class will allow them to explore the music they love, as well as be exposed to music they've never heard of.

My music students are taking Mariachi class because they are eager to explore the music they love and learn what its like to be a professional mariachi.

However, in order for them to do so, we need to look the part! We need mariachi bow ties, specifically known as "moños". Your help would allow students to have a mariachi bow tie to perform in and allow them to envision themselves as a future professional. From there, they'll be able to channel their passion and hard work and create learning and musical experiences that will have a lasting impact on their lives for years to come.
