We can achieve freedom through literacy! I teach at an inner city school. Our focus at my school is to ensure that our students receive an exemplary education. We focus much of our attention on developing our students literacy skills so that they that are able to compete in a global society. I currently teach third grade; however, I have developed the a Reading Lab at my school to assist students from grade K-5 with improving their literacy skills.

With help from Donors Choose students will have the opportunity to improve their reading skills using up to date reading materials and scientifically researched programs that specifically addresses the students literacy needs and improve upon the students reading strengths.

To ensure that students have the opportunity to grow academically, the Reading Lab needs materials to help further develop their literacy skills. The Reading Lab requires reading books to address the varied reading levels of our students along with manipulatives and reading games to further peak their interest into improving their reading skills.

Help our children to compete globally! With help from Donor's Choose our students will possess the literacy skills necessary to achieve academic success. Help our children understand that through literacy one can achieve freedom through literacy!
