My Project

I’m always inspired by the drive and enthusiasm of my middle school scholars. They are eager to explore new ways to express themselves, and music is one of the most powerful tools for that. These young musicians are full of energy, and a drumline would offer them the opportunity to channel that energy into something meaningful and productive. Their excitement about learning, paired with their natural creativity, makes this a perfect project.

Starting a drumline would give them a unique platform to grow not just musically, but also as individuals who collaborate, build confidence, and push their boundaries.

The specific items I’m requesting—the drums, sticks, cases, and stands—are essential tools that will allow my students to develop their rhythm and coordination. This project will teach them the importance of practice, discipline, and teamwork, as they learn to synchronize with one another to produce a unified sound. My goal is to create a space where students can express themselves, develop their musical talents, and experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with working toward a shared goal. These resources will empower them to reach their fullest potential, both as musicians and as young people learning the power of collaboration.
