This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school's Literacy Coach put together the best form of March Madness - a March Madness Tournament of Picture Books! For the first few weeks of March, we read picture books to our class and were able to vote to see which book won for the day.

These picture books bring up positive memories and start conversations around social emotional learning.

I would love to have a set of the books that we used in our Tournament of Books so that my students could read them all they want this year, as well as have them available for future classes.
