This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At FES, we believe music can change lives and inspire creativity in children. I have the pleasure of teaching a diverse group of 1st graders and kindergartners, some of whom have special needs and benefit from receiving music therapy on a regular basis.

Thanks to your donation, all of my students will have an opportunity to play instruments during music therapy, which will encourage socialization, self-expression, communication, and motor development!

The children have expressed that the shakers, maracas, and bongos are their favorites! They are looking forward to using them independently to make maraca-lous beats!
