Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are growing greatness in GES Texas. I recently joined the staff and look forward to having my first classroom next year. I have ten students with varying disabilities (downs, autism, non-verbal, etc.), and I am trying to stock my classroom to meet individual needs as well as classroom goals while providing a welcoming and comfortable environment. Students will be able to express themselves with manipulatives while counting and sorting. Books provide a repetitive situation that encourages memorization and creativity. Thank you for helping me open a world to my littles that will see beyond their disabilities.
