Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My pre-k students need cars, trains and animals to play with in our block area. There are many benefits of playing in the block area for preschoolers in their early childhood development. Here are just 5 of the amazing benefits my students will receive by using the materials you help provide in this donation. Cars, trains, animals (manipulative) will allow the students to: problem solve, use their imagination, be creative, explore and allow young dual language learners to explore, express themselves, and demonstrate what they are learning.

Through play and exploration, my students can enhance their problem-solving abilities, mathematics skills, and language and literacy abilities and constructing “creations” builds self esteem and feelings of success.
