Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the Social Emotional Learning teacher in my school building. I work with the youngest students on learning to identify their emotions and the emotions of others. I teach them self-regulation strategies to help them throughout their lives.

The self-regulation skills that I teach them now will support them throughout their lives.

The tools in the project will support the students in regulating their emotions through fun activities. I currently use these types of materials with them but they are wearing out and need to be switched for some new and exciting tools.
