My Students

We love to make music on xylophones, and our old mallets are falling apart. We could really use some new ones.

My students are enthusiastic lovers of music.

They enjoy playing songs on the xylophones and learning about different cultures. My low-income, multi-cultural, suburban school has 800 students who would benefit greatly from having these mallets to continue playing the xylophones.

My Project

Our current xylophone mallets are falling apart. A few have broken off or unraveled. Some are missing their mate. With 12 new mallets, we can continue to play the xylophones and glockenspiels in our class activities and songs. They will be able to learn more keyboarding skills and about melody and the scale.

My students will get to make more music, which is a true blessing in their lives.

My students constantly tell me how thankful they are for having a music class. It gives them a chance to explore and be free. With these new mallets, our work can continue.
