This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Malala inspires us to be better now we need to read her story!

My students are inner city New Yorkers who do not have the means to purchase their own copy of this powerful book.

They are full of life and ready to make a change for the better in their school and their community. They are the future leaders of the world.

My Project

We have read and watched numerous texts about Malala and what happened to her. My students instantly became intrigued and fascinated by Malala's perseverance. They want to know more but our funds are limited. By reading her book, the students of my class will make a change and spread her powerful message.

Your donation will change a young students mind and heart forever.

There are not enough positive young role models for students to look up and they have found one in Malala. My students are the future leaders of the world and we need to provide them with a strong foundation.
